Job Description:
Spirit of Atlanta Inc. is seeking licensed healthcare providers who are interested in applying their skills to a unique and challenging performing arts environment. Spirit of Atlanta is looking for licensed athletic trainers, nurses, and EMTs to assist with the following duties during the 2025 season (May 27th - August 13th). Time commitment is flexible based on the number of weeks desired to work.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities in injury evaluation, rehabilitative care, first aid care, and general medical care for the members and staff of the drum corps

Provide ongoing care to ensure members of the corps are able to perform at their highest level

Communicate with staff & administration on individual injury/performance status

Ensure consistent and accurate documentation of all medical encounters
Qualifications

Must be a licensed ATC/RN/EMT by start of employment.

Must also have a current CPR/ECC certification and professional liability insurance

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must have a valid driver’s license, and pass a background check.
Additional Information
-
Medical staff will be a live-in position with the drum corps. When the tour portion of the season begins, the medical staff will travel with the drum corps.

Candidates will work as part of a medical team typically with at least 1 other licensed professional and/or medical interns

It is critical to have access to a reliable laptop and cell phone during employment.
Compensation

Competitive pay based on experience and availability

This position is considered an independent contractor paid position (1099)

Housing, transportation, and food will be provided by the drum corps
Location and Schedule:
This position will be on-site with the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps for the entirety of pre-tour and tour.
