At Spirit of Atlanta, our volunteers are the backbone of our organization. From serving meals to driving the convoy, every volunteer plays a critical role in creating an exceptional experience for our performers.

Spirit of Atlanta volunteers are more than helpers—they’re family. Whether you can give a day, a week, or an entire summer, your time and energy make an enormous difference. Here are just a few of the ways you can help:

Kitchen Crew

  • Prepare and serve four meals daily from our fully equipped kitchen truck.

  • Assist with food prep, cleanup, and ensuring our members are fueled for long rehearsal days.

  • No culinary experience required—just a willingness to work hard and a love for feeding hungry performers!

Drivers

  • Help us safely transport our buses, trucks, and vans from one housing site to the next.

  • Night driving is key, with plenty of time during the day to rest or explore the tour sites.

  • CDL drivers are needed for buses and semis, but van drivers don’t require special licenses.

Uniform and Sewing Team

  • Assist with uniform fittings, repairs, and alterations during camps and on tour.

  • Create and maintain guard flags, props, and other textiles.

  • No prior sewing experience? No problem! There are tasks for all skill levels, from seam ripping to pressing uniforms.

Merchandise Team

  • Help operate and manage our merchandise booth at events and competitions.

  • Interact with fans, alumni, and supporters while promoting our Spirit-branded gear.
